Criss Cross card

I loved making this criss cross card and have made a few of these over the years.  I made one a couple of years ago (didn't have a blog then so didn't get a photo.. doh!) anyway I made the criss cross like a waistcoat and the inner section like a shirt and tie, you will have to have imagination now though but it looked good.

This one is using SU Christmas dsp (ski slope) but it has sadly retired but my point here is it doesn't look like a Christmas card.  So the dsp is very versatile and the Merry Moments dsp is the latest Christmas one but when you look at that (page 76 of the Idea book and catalogue) it could be used for lots of other occasions too and has some lovely stripey designs.

The inside is using the Garden Whimsy stamps again! (this really is a must have set, in my opinion)..... I attached a belly band in old olive card and the oval all stamp 'For You' in old olive ink, punched with the oval scallop punch and the tab punch to help pull it from the card.

...........Until tomorrow...... be crafty......

About my tiger lillies, no I didn't get them after all that. Hubby couldn't find them, he says they must have died. Ya right he forgot where they were LOL
