BIBA is back at House of Fraser

Back from my week working away and OMG!! I can't believe it! Whilst I was working away in Exeter and Plymouth I got some time to look around the shops in Plymouth and wondered into H of F as you do.... and found out that BIBA is back and has been for about 8 weeks.  Well back to 10th September 1972 (am I really THAT old? yes Peg you are and it was a great time back then) when the new store opened in High Street Kensington, London.  I was working there and what an experience it was the store was so lush with marble and glitz it was a pleasure to be there.  I loved their clothing it was all so me not that I could afford to buy much of it but just having the uniform for work was amazing.

So when I walked into the store and saw handbags, purses and wallets I got so excited and had to ask if there was any clothing?  yes they said 2nd floor.... well I could have floated up that escalator...  I just had to buy something (in secret I am hoping hubby will get me one of the handbags for my Christmas present)   this is the bag with my buy inside it's even tied at the top with the most lush satin ribbon and of course I will be using it on some of my next Stampin' Up! projects...

and taking it out of the bag all wrapped in tissue and a BIBA sticker, I tried so hard to get it off in tact.. oh well will have to buy something else!! hee hee

and then this is my purchase a lovely black top with the BIBA logo I love it!!!

I will be back tomorrow with a card
Hope you all had a good week.
Until then........be crafty.....

  1. Oh Peg ... don't I just love that black top. Must get myself into our H&M (York) double quick and see if they sell Biba in there. Wow, that takes me back (yes, believe it or not, I was a working girl way back in the 70's also).
