Best of Christmas and Problems with Water Pipes

A little while ago hubby noticed pools of water in parts of the garden when there hadn't been any rain! He realised that there must be a water leak from the mains water into the house, not a nice thought and just glad we aren't on a water meter as it was constant running water into the garden, the pond was overflowing to the bottom of the garden!!

So, Gary set out digging to find the original pipe near the house and at the end of the drive where the mains are connected, he dug and dug and eureka he finally found the original pipe. the trenches were big enough for a body! and questions were being asked if I was going away somewhere? If I go missing from blogging please come looking eh?

Next came the digger to dig a new trench and lay a new pipe, yesterday was that day, here is a friend Alex on a mini digger starting at the house and heading to the road, the total length was 60 metres, Alex and Gary were working out it would have probably taken 2 weeks to dig it manually.... boys and toys are good things sometimes

and a closer look, they also found 4 other pipes that we think are drainage from the farmers field, unfortunately they got a bit broken by the digger and need repairing now

Anyway, onto today's card, this one was spotted in my samples yesterday at my class and I had forgotten to show it here
I used the dasher stamp from Best of Christmas

The Pretty Print embossing folder is a real favourite and I got to use my the Paper Piercing Essentials around the circle, the photo even shows it nicely

Have a lovely day!

Until next time .............. Here's to boys toys
