Ever feel like you have lost your right arm?

I know it's Saturday and I didn't get to blog for a couple of days but I have a good reason for it!

On Tuesday night our wifi started to play up and didn't want to work so I just thought I'll give BT a call in the morning and get them to sort it...... little did I know that our neighbour and some friends who live locally also had the same problem....... you might want to get a cuppa if you are interested in reading the rest...... or scroll down if you only want to see the card!

Well Wednesday morning arrived and I picked up the phone to call BT ..... uh! no dial tone on the phone....... so the problem was reported, there was a time when it would be fixed pretty quickly but they quoted by 5pm on Monday..  oh no my missing right arm!! not only did I not have a landline phone but no internet access either, well apart from my iPhone and that didn't prove too good as we only get 2G where we live!  At least calls were diverted to my mobile so all wasn't lost.

So here we are on Saturday and the engineer arrived about 11am only to tell us the fault wasn't with us but in our local exchange in Rock...... So..... off he went to the exchange to fix it there! apparently they were changing over to fibre and cut our phone off!

All's well that ends well and I'm back today to share a card

A fellow demonstrator in America had this idea to use the new Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Die and cut it out with the Butterfly Die, I loved this idea, thank you Kirsteen,

I added a Butterfly Die cut using the FREE Sale a Bration Botanical Gardens Vellum to the back too

The sentiment is from another Free Sale a Bration set called Hello, this set is a Limited Time item and will only be available until 15th February 2016

Thanks for taking time from your weekend to look

Until next time ......

My arm is back!!

Clean and Simple Butterfly Stampin' Up! Uk Pegcraftalot

Hello, hope you had a good weekend? the weather wasn't as good as during last week was it?  As some of my blog readers may already know I am a real sun worshipper and so for me last week I didn't get any crafting done!!   As for the weekend on Saturday I thought I should catch up on some chores (boring) and on Sunday one of my little sisters came for a visit.  So lets hope I can get some crafting in this next couple of days eh?  I have a class on Wednesday so I best get busy......

I made this card quite some time ago and it's going to be one of the cards in upcoming classes in April

The thick Bakers Twine was a free gift during Sale a Bration in Blackberry Bliss (hope you got yours)

The background paper is from Park Lane Designer Paper

The cutout Butterfly is from Butterfly Thinlits

Thanks for looking today

Until next time....

Aluminium Foil Butterfly Basics

Today's share is a card I made using Aluminium Foil for my butterfly and the lovely Perpetual Calendar Stamp Set for the background

I used Blendabilities to colour the butterfly

I have news on the Blendabilites from Stampin' Up!

We are experiencing a quality issue with our Blendabilities product line. Except for the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad (item #132708) and the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad Refill (item #133456), all item numbers have been turned off; this includes Blendabilities Sale-A-Bration item numbers.

We thank you for your patience and will update you as soon as we have more information. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

As is usual Stampin' Up! are always quality conscious and I'm sure they will let us know as soon as possible when they will be available again

Anyway, if you already have them I encourage you to give it a go, this card is so delicate in real life, I backed the Aluminium Foil with a vellum die cut butterfly

Here is a closer look at the butterfly

thanks for looking

Until next time ......
