Envelope Gift Card Holder meets Duet Banner Punch

Just when you really need to give a gift but you are unsure of the gift - what could be better than a gift card, well that's exactly what I have made

I used the Playful Palette Designer Paper and picked out the Sweet Sugarplum piece and die cut it using the Gift Card Envelope

Wrapped it with some Bakers Twine and added the sentiment from Thoughtful Banners punched out with the Duet Banner Punch, you can get these as a bundle and save 10%

See them on page 73 and 186 in the new catalogue

Don't you just love this new In Colour - even the name is a beaut Sweet Sugarplum

I have some more of the new In colours to share in posts to come

Until then ........ happy crafting ......

Gift Card Envelope and Trims Thinlits Box and card

In my class on Wednesday one of the projects we made was this box..... it uses the Gift Card Envelope Thinlits die for the lid

Very clever don't you think?

Here is a side view

so yesterday I decided to have a play to see what else I could make with it

Well obviously a Gift Card Envelope!

I used the Merry Everything stamp set and matching punch, save 15% when purchased as a bundle

here is the back of the card

and here I made a triangle box and it's very sturdy too

My intention was to make a regular box but as I was putting it together it turned out to be a triangle! and a gift card envelope - 2 projects instead of 1

I love it when things just happen like that, don't you?

Thanks for stopping by today

Until next time ...
