Style Beautiful from Stampin' Up!

Hope your weekend was a good one, I was working from home yesterday and really feel like I haven't had any time to craft too much.

I am off today to Trowbridge near Bath..... working for the day ......... Hello Barb... if only I had more time I could have popped in for a cuppa...........

Onto this little 4x4 card I made using the Style Beautiful stamp set...

and a little closer......

Love this set and I must look at my stamps and use them a bit more .... you know how it goes, you get a new set and forget the old ones?

Until next time .......... have a lovely day .........

A gate fold card using Style Beautiful

The picture above wasn't brilliant but I think you can see it better in this one, the designer paper is from Lap of Luxury

I used the Sizzlits 4 pack die that is exclusive to Stampin' Up! for the layered tag. this is the inside.....

Have a great Friday....

Stampin' Up! Christmas Tree

Well not actually Stampin' Up! tree but mine.

I thought I would show you some pictures of my Christmas tree, it's not a real one but one we have had for some years.  We bought this when we lived in Windlesham, Surrey as we needed a tall thin one in our lounge/dining room and haven't got around to changing it for our house here in Rock....maybe next year.  Anyway when I took the picture (lower down) I couldn't see some of the ornaments so I took some close ups.  I got most of these decorations back in 1987 on a visit to North Carolina, USA.  they have lasted well and I love them all.
Above is my reindeer almost as dashing as Stampin' Up! Dasher

Love these ballet shoes and the little fairy I got in a garden centre in Windlesham

I think there are 4 of these fairies on the tree

On top my Queen Fairy

Above the tree in the corner of our kitchen

above picture; outside in the garden today bloomin' cold it had just stopped snowing but more snow to come later according to the forecast but it's not always right at the moment.
and on to today's card Life is Beautiful from Style Beautiful and Greenhouse Garden

I really liked how these colours work together, the colour coach gave me these as a combination they are Not Quite Navy and Cajun Craze.  I dyed the ribbon Cajun Craze using the marker and ink pad.  for the bird I stamped the bird from the hostess set Punch Potpourri and punched it out using the 2 step bird punch.
Hope you enjoyed looking.

I was having a play with this stamp set this week and started pattern building and I was so pleased with how this turned out.  Not much more to say on the matter so here it is:

Style Beautiful

Saturday here again, I have a class at home today with some Stampin' friends and am really looking forward to it.  This isn't a card we are making but wanted to make up some samples using this stamp set called Style Beautiful and this is the first of many as I love this set.  The background monogram I stamped with Early Espresso ink as was the little fleur de lys at the bottom, it looks like I have stamped off the card first but no that's how it turns out much lighter than you would think.  I have been tango'd again but this time with a lovely new colour, Tangerine Tango and yes it really is called that and back to an old faithful stamp set Greenhouse Garden.

This is the inside of the card using the sentiment in the Style Beautiful set, I just love this and stamped it using Marina Mist ink; such a gorgeous colour.
