Garden Whimsy Baby Wipe Technique

I didn't get to do any crafting yesterday, work took over..pesky stuff ......anyway here is another card from my last class and it's using the baby wipe technique.  Ladies from my class wanted to have a go at this technique and it started with Shirley asking how they had made one of the cards in the Idea Book and Catalogue so this is a CASe of that.

One of my all time favourite stamp sets Garden Whimsy was used for this I added some pearls but everyone said they preferred doodling dots as the one in the IDB&C and to be honest so do I but when I made mine the dots I doodled weren't that great! so I covered them up!

We also decorated a box to put it in and as we stamped up a whole sheet of whisper white using other stamps from the set my 4 lovely friends can add a few more cards to give as a gift.

I am working from home again today so let's hope it's not as busy as yesterday and I will keep my fingers crossed I can make something at lunchtime or later tonight. I am going to the offices in Reading tomorrow to get my work laptop upgraded and it will be nice to catch up with colleagues as I haven't seen them in months!

Garden Whimsy meets Baby Blossom

I was having a play on Tuesday and remembered I hadn't done any Kissing lately, not with DH but with a stamp!

I have decided that Baby blossom stamp set is my favourite in the Stampin' Up! Mini and have to say Garden Whimsy has always been a big favourite of mine..... so it had to happen use them both together......

The kissing part happened when I used the En Francais background stamp and the butterfly.

I like it but not so sure about the colours maybe I should have used some nice bright ones to tempt the sun back.

Garden Whimsy One Sheet Wonder - Tuesday

Update on my travels today, got to my hotel at 8.15pm so quite a long day and not sure what the place is like yet (apart from the hotel room which is lovely) The job tomorrow is only a few hundred yards over the road so don't have to get up too early.  Will update on more tomorrow

Garden Whimsy for a change

 I am off to Stornoway on Monday (tomorrow) and was wondering what I was going to do with my blog for the 5 days I am away?  I normally work 3 days but still will be next week but it takes forever to get to Stornoway; 2 flights and waiting around at airports for a connection, so am travelling Monday and back on Friday.  I had a chat with my SIL on Friday and she made a great suggestion of a One Sheet Wonder........... so from tomorrow I have a card a day using a piece from the sheet per card and a bonus on Friday, so just hope blogger plays nicely and publishes them for me.  I will have access to wifi so will give an update if anything interesting happens.

So onto today's card.............just a hint of what I am using for my cards! this is a stamp from Garden Whimsy stamp set (Stampin Up of course)
