Stampin' Up! Make a Monster

I love Make a Monster Stamp Set and this is my version of one I saw at the European Stampin' Up! Convention it was by a fellow German demonstrator and was on the show and tell boards but sorry I don't know her name, on her card she stamped (I googled the translation which was Alles Gute Zum Geburtstag) Happy Birthday in an arc over the hole but I didn't have a bendy happy birthday so I used Make a Wish (sorry it's a retired stamp)  I really enjoyed making this, thanks to ??? for sharing this with all of us demonstrators.  That's the great thing about being a demonstrator ....I get to go to Convention and see all the wonderful samples plus lots more, if you would like to learn more and have a no obligation chat to see if this is for you then contact me by email or call 01299 269274

  Hope you have a good Monday, I have a training session this afternoon using Webex so it's a talk over the phone one and share the computer screen to a Company in Portugal..... yes... no big deal I hear you say but over the weekend I started losing my voice and it got croakier and croakier so wish me luck......

Make a Monster birthday card

Happy Birthday Rich my brother in law William Richard Holmes, hence the initials, hope you have a great day! not that you will be looking at my blog though.......

I knew I would have to get this set as soon as I saw it; Make a Monster is so much fun and I bought it in the clear mount then it makes it easy as there are 3 monster bodies and 12 bit for eyes, teeth and bits to make your monster.  When we were at convention I saw some lovely samples of these and might just have to CASe a couple and put them on here for you all to see.

In mine I masked off the letters from School Book Serif stamp set and then stamped the monsters over the top so they look like they are behind the letters.

The dog is from All in the Family set and the arrow and balloon are from Party this way stamp set, the arrow spins around to point where you want it on the card.

European Stampin' Up! Convention Make a Monster

Well this is the day we demonstrators have been waiting for all year the 2nd convention, last year was in Frankfurt Germany and today we are at Addington Palace, yes a palace.   I hope to be able to update this to and give you some idea of what is going on here today.

I will be back home on Saturday evening so hope to get some pictures for you to see then.

In the meantime I have this card for you to see as today is also Kieran's birthday, Happy Birthday Kieran, love you lots xxx,

Kieran is my sister's foster boy but completely one of the family, Kieran lived in care and was cared for in a children's home, he is Quadriplegic and has Cerebral Palsy, until my sister was lucky enough to foster him when he was 9, he is 12 today.  Kieran lights up the room and has the biggest smile ever and the biggest bluest eyes you have ever seen. This is a picture I took of him a couple of years ago.
