Another flower not just any flower It's a Poppy

This is such a gorgeous colour is it Only Orange?  I think it is and I have a confession.... I have all of the Stampin' Up! ink pads (well you have to have them all) and I have never used this colour.... well today is the day and what do you think the inside stamens are Rich Razzleberry or Elegant Eggplant with a hint of Rose Red?

they were all just beginning to open out so I couldn't resist taking some pictures of them..

So these are the cards I made from this inspiration....

Greenhouse Garden was my instant first choice and I think it turned out okay, I don't think I would ever have thought to use Only Orange but I actually quite like it now!  Surprises happen every day!!

So the second choice was not this to start with ... but then I looked up on the shelf and thought "mmm I haven't used this stamp set yet" (don't tell but I have a few like that) .... So that's the one I used it's called Serene Snowflakes, which is probably why you wouldn't think to use it in May but I think it looks okay for "May"
So this just shows when you look around the place you live there will almost always be some inspiration and if not ... CASE a few cards or projects from the galleries at ILWS (in love with stamping) and SCS (splitcoast stampers)

.........Until tomorrow..... be crafty

  3. Orange would be one of the last colours that I would choose for any project. I LOVE these cards with these colours.
This is a challenge I should take. Use a colour that I would least use and find a way to use it.
    Again beautiful cards.
