Sue's big night.....

Last Monday Sue had her very first Stampin' Up! party and as it was her first I went along to help but have to say she didn't really need the help from me as it went so smoothly and all the ladies that attended had a fabulous time.  Val was the hostess and she had booked a local hall as she had invited 21 ladies!!! 17 was the final figure a couple of ladies couldn't make it at the last minute.  What a great hostess she was too but this numty (me) forgot to take any pictures as I was having such a good time, oops sorry Sue not a photo taken, such a divvy that I am.....  Anyway Sue sent me a photo of her make and take, (her blog is a work in progress so thought I would share the event on mine for her)

Sue used bashful blue everything, stunning card.  The picture doesn't do it justice the layered big butterfly was punched on Stampin' Up! window sheet otherwise known as acetate and layered with tiny pearls.

I know Val got a lovely gift from Sue too and there was a raffle and a door prize.  Val achieved level 3 hostess benefits and chose Rustic Rooster and In My Garden Stamp sets as her free gift and then had £60 to spend on Stampin' Up! goodies too.

Guess what?    I got a gift from Sue for helping but as I said I didn't do much,  this is a photo of my pressie hanging in my craft room on the window, it's a friendship ball

This is the little card explaining it's creation, thank you so much Sue I appreciate it.

The little gift card below using the flight of the butterfly stamp set and Sue coloured some of the Brides paper in Real Red to match.

It really was a good evening and thanks Sue for inviting me and becoming one of Stampin' Up!'s family, I know you are going to have a successful and creative journey with us all.

................Until tomorrow............be crafty......
