Our Wedding Anniversary today, we got married in Australia on a small Island; Heron Island on the Great Barrier Reef 14 years ago today, I can't believe how the time has flown by.
This is us on the day but I haven't any digital pics so took this from a photo in a frame.
And this is me in my wedding dress all floaty due to the wind on the day we had lots of it and rain but it was still the most amazing evening, we got married around 6pm so most of the storm was dying down.
Ahh.... a lovely trip down memory lane...
As I have said before hubby and I don't normally do cards to each other anymore, It sort of stopped when hubby stopped sending to me!!! little tear. Well I thought I would make him a card for our Anniversary today and this is it.... I have used the Heart shaped treat cup and Sweetheart stamp set; I bought these as soon as the new Idea Book and Catalogue came out as I know there will be a rush on these for Valentine Day cards.
The lighting was really bad yesterday when I took the photo's but I think you get the idea. I stamped the tab punch stamp from Perfect Punches stamp set and punched out then used the Stampin' Marker and wrote "Pull Here" on it and when you do that all the jelly beans will fall out, I love how the colours coordinate with my card.
It almost was unbearable making this with no ribbon and bits of girly things on it!!!! The paper is from the Neutral Designer Stack pack, the Ivory Neutral card is becoming a favourite, love it. Sentiment is from a level 3 Hostess set Occasional Quotes.
Don't miss out for Valentine Day order yours now and don't forget you can pay by credit card now, give me a call or email to place your order.
.........Until next time.........be crafty......
Hiya Peg,
ReplyDeleteHappy Wedding Anniversary ;0)
I love the photos you posted of your wedding day. You look lovely. And Australia must've been an incredible wedding location (in spite of the weather!).
I always get very stuck when it comes to making cards for men. I love the way you've coordinated the jelly beans with the card colours (i'm storing this away in my brain for Sam's next birthday card...)
Thank you for the card you posted too. It came a couple of days back and I've added it to my fridge of favourites as it is so gorgeous.
