Greenhouse Gala and Sweetheart

I was in Durham yesterday and stayed in a Castle called Lumley Castle I have a couple of photo's and will show them as soon as I get them loaded, it was a fabulous place to stay it was built in the 13th Century and I got to wonder about inside the castle all around the nooks and crannies and I could really imagine living in that time and wearing smelly clothes, never washing etc but I have to say they now have plumbing! and I couldn't bear to go without a wash!

Here is another card I made at the weekend, I have to admit I sometimes forget about all the lovely paper I have well actually I think ooooooohhhhh I can't use it only look at it and stroke it!!!!!

anyway this is some of the lovely bright paper from Greenhouse Gala and the stamp set for the sentiment is Stampin' Up! Curly and Cute set
The heart I stamped from the Sweetheart set and cut around it with my paper snip scissors, they are so good for cutting out!

The little bird is from the same Sweetheart set and the buttons are from the Brights pack

a simple card to make but I like how bright it is and changing the sentiment it could be for any occasion.

Hope you like it!

Stampin' Up! Sweetheart Valentine

Actually this is not for Stampin' Up!'s Sweetheart.... it's for my Sweetheart, my nearest and dearest........I thought I should make it sooner rather than later just in case I forgot!, we don't normally send cards as I have said before but this year I am changing all that. I used Love Letter designer series paper for the background and the heart in the middle, punched using the full heart punch.  The stamp set is Sweetheart and stamped the outer heart in Riding Hood Red, the leaves stamped in Basic Black and the just for you is from Just Believe Stamp Set.  The base card is Riding Hood Red, images stamped onto Very Vanilla and to finish off some Black Satin Ribbon. tied in a knot.

this is a close up of the pearls, I coloured the pearls using a black reinker and clear embossing powder.

Sweetheart Treat Cup Anniversary Card

Our Wedding Anniversary today, we got married in Australia on a small Island; Heron Island on the Great Barrier Reef 14 years ago today, I can't believe how the time has flown by.

This is us on the day but I haven't any digital pics so took this from a photo in a frame.

And this is me in my wedding dress all floaty due to the wind on the day we had lots of it and rain but it was still the most amazing evening, we got married around 6pm so most of the storm was dying down.
Ahh.... a lovely trip down memory  lane...

As I have said before hubby and I don't normally do cards to each other anymore, It sort of stopped when hubby stopped sending to me!!! little tear.  Well I thought I would make him a card for our Anniversary today and this is it.... I have used the Heart shaped treat cup and Sweetheart stamp set; I bought these as soon as the new Idea Book and Catalogue came out as I know there will be a rush on these for Valentine Day cards.

The lighting was really bad yesterday when I took the photo's but I think you get the idea.  I stamped the tab punch stamp from Perfect Punches stamp set and punched out then used the Stampin' Marker and wrote "Pull Here" on it and when you do that all the jelly beans will fall out, I love how the colours coordinate with my card.

It almost was unbearable making this with no ribbon and bits of girly things on it!!!!  The paper is from the Neutral Designer Stack pack, the Ivory Neutral card is becoming a favourite, love it.  Sentiment is from a level 3 Hostess set Occasional Quotes.

Don't miss out for Valentine Day order yours now and don't forget you can pay by credit card now, give me a call or email to place your order.
