Christmas cards for a friend

Only one more sleep and it will be here!!! I feel like a big kid all excited and waiting with anticipation....

I know I said no more Christmas cards but I forgot I had made these and was having a sort out of photo's on my computer when I found them; so thought you might like to see them? 

A friend and work colleague asked me to make her a couple of Christmas cards this year for a couple of special people in her life.  The first she wanted something traditional so I distressed a background sheet using En Francais and the distressing kit the Peace on Earth is from Four the Holidays stamp set.

the next is a card for her grandson who came into the world a couple of weeks ago so it's his first Christmas this year.  I used the School Book Serif for his name and used some nice traditional colours.

She loved them, phew! success for me as you never know what someone else's idea of cards are.
