Stampin' Up! Best of Butterflies Easel Card

I had fun yesterday making this card...... I got out my sewing machine and forgot how much I had missed it!

I used the Best of Butterflies the stamp set of the month last July and if you want this it's only available until 31st March 2014
Click here to view the pdf

You can also see the other Best of Stamps on the right hand side bar only available until 31st March 2014

I used the En Francais background stamp in Sahara Sand the little butterflies are from Papilion Potpouri, I am loving the Core'dinations Card stock it gives the card so much dimension

I cut out the Old Olive designer paper from the Brights Stack using the Square Framelits to make a frame, this is attached to a piece of Pink Piroutte

Here is the Easel card open I used Stippled Blossom Stamp Set and the sentiment is from Happy Day die cut with the Banner Framelits

Here is a side view, just love the Crochet Trim Lace

and a closer look at the butterflies and (flowers from my own stash)

3 d Butterfly from Stampin' Up! designer paper

It's been a busy sort of week where not much gets done!

I had a class yesterday and went out in the evening and then before we know it, it's Friday and I realised I hadn't posted yesterday

I made this yesterday and to be honest I'm not a green sort of person but this Pistachio Pudding is growing on me!

The little flower on the butterfly is the White Simply Pressed Clay that I painted

If you look close at the picture above you will see a stamped butterfly from Papaya Collage
The background is a real favourite of mine En Francais and the designer paper is Venetian Romance

Hope you had a good week and thanks for stopping by for a look

Until next time ............. have a great weekend!

Stampin' Up! Hello Doily

Hey Ho.... I was never ever thinking of getting this Hello Doily stamp until I spent a day crafting with Jane and we used it!! I fell in love with the gorgeous lacy pattern and finally got my order from Mr Brown (UPS, not my little squirrel, more on him another time) last Thursday.

I stamped some Soft Sky card with the En Francais stamp in Smoky Slate and then white embossed the Hello Doily.

I couldn't stop with that though I stamped over my die cut butterfly in Smoky Slate too, the butterfly is from the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die

and the sentiment is from Express Yourself, a hostess set with so many useful words, check it out on page 205 in this years 2013-2014 catalogue

Thanks for stopping by today for a look...

Until next time ......... have a crafty Friday

Build a blossom Stampin' Up!

It's certainly turning out cold, yesterday and today; I have certainly felt it; and very windy here yesterday but then I live on a hill so it would be windier I suppose.  DH said it was very mild out but as I was working from home it was colder in than out, I suppose we have been spoilt with the weather we had earlier this month so we shouldn't complain eh?

I had time to stamp last night and started to stamp with the Everything Eleanor stamp set! I love it already!! it's on page 57 of the Idea Book and Catalogue, I hope to have another go tonight so hopefully I will have something to show you soon.

Anyway,

Here we go with another Stampin' Up! Build a Blossom stamp set and the Blossom Builder punch, another of the samples from Sunday at Bicester.

I have used Calypso Coral and Black and White.
The Top Note die I stamped with En Francais and Just Believe stamp set, the sentiment is from Pennant Parade stamp set and stamped this onto one of the Four Frames stamps and punched it out with the Decorative Label punch,  Of course I had to add some bling and used the Jewels for this.

I absolutely love these colours together

Hope you don't get too bored with more of these samples coming up soon?

Simple Said Happy Birthday

Well sorry for no posting but it was due to my laptop, I had an upgrade to Windows 7 and I have this dongle thingee to conect to the Internet..... well after the upgrade the software for my dongle wasn't copied across properly so.... no connection while I was away.....

Anyway, onto this card that should have been on yesterday it's for a sister demonstrator Carole who celebrated her birthday yesterday... the photo really doesn't do it justice.... honest....
anyway I used Simply Said stamp set for this and En Francais, the bowl to hold the flowers is punched with the Ornament punch and I ran this through the Big Shop using the Square Lattice embossing folder.

This was the inside

That's it today.........Until tomorrow ........... be crafty......

All a Flutter and En Francais

Only 4 days left for the Special offer from me I am offering FREE postage and packing for orders over £50 placed with me until the end of June 2011, that's a saving of £4.95 ..... contact me to place your order today

Sunday and today I am off on my travels again...... looks like it's going to be a gorgeous hot day today so will be leaving a little later but I hope the traffic isn't too heavy on my way into London!! I might regret sitting in the sun for a couple of hours eh?

Anyway onto today's card and I haven't used this little All a Flutter stamp for ages, if you read my blog often you know that sometimes to choose a stamp set from the shelves I go...... 4 down 3 across and use that stamp set ...... well yesterday I picked just the single stamps in the smallest of clam cases and this is how I got to the one for today.  Also, using one of the largest stamps, the background stamp called En Francais.

I decided to use colours I don't always go to.... and got out Tangerine Tango and Cajun Craze.  I used the Tea dye ink spot from the Distressing Essentials kit to age the edges
and the sentiment is from the Curly Cute stamp set, I used the 7 sided distressing tool from the Cutter Kit on the edges.

I hope to get access at the hotel to post for the next few days and hope you will come back for another look then.
thanks for looking and taking the time to leave a comment, I love to read all of them, it's like getting happy mail! so please leave a comment before you go otherwise I might just be typing this to the big abyss out there, like talking to myself in the mirror.... no I won't go there today.......I will leave that one for another time.

...............Until next time.............be crafty...........

Christmas cards for a friend

Only one more sleep and it will be here!!! I feel like a big kid all excited and waiting with anticipation....

I know I said no more Christmas cards but I forgot I had made these and was having a sort out of photo's on my computer when I found them; so thought you might like to see them?

A friend and work colleague asked me to make her a couple of Christmas cards this year for a couple of special people in her life.  The first she wanted something traditional so I distressed a background sheet using En Francais and the distressing kit the Peace on Earth is from Four the Holidays stamp set.

the next is a card for her grandson who came into the world a couple of weeks ago so it's his first Christmas this year.  I used the School Book Serif for his name and used some nice traditional colours.

She loved them, phew! success for me as you never know what someone else's idea of cards are.

Until next time ................be crafty.....
