First things first I want to say thank you to everyone who sent me Birthday wishes for yesterday.
I had a lovely Birthday just doing what I wanted and I bet you can't guess what that was? Then out for dinner with hubby last night .... yummy .... I was naughty and even had a desert! lovely baked Lemon Torte it was really tangy... yum yum....
One of my pressies yesterday was a book by Rachel Khoo called The Little Paris Kitchen there has also been a TV series on it, anyway there are some amazing recipes in there and I am looking forward to making them, the first recipe in the book is Fig and Chicken Liver Salad, I intend to have this one as soon as I can I just love figs ...... the rest of the recipes in the book will follow not long after, love it!
So, this was the card I was going to post yesterday, I used Mocha Morning designer paper, love that paper I have even purchased a pack to keep and not open! but I have some left from when I used it on my envelope mini album that I made during the Christmas break and posted in January on here.
this first pic wasn't brilliant so .......
I took another, for the flower I used the Fun Flowers die and the sentiment is a real favourite Sincere Salutations punched out with the large Oval punch, this was backed by some Blushing Bride card that I ran through the Big Shot with the oval from the Designer Frames embossing folders.
The sneak peak is of the blushing bride ribbon!
I attached this over black satin ribbon and layered that onto blushing bride card that I ran through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, I inked that and then added some Stampin' Up! gold embossing powder to it.
here is the close up,love that ribbon!
......... Until next time ......... have a great Sunday!
