Stampin' Up! Gift Box using Simply Scored Board

I haven't gone AWOL, I just haven't got around to much crafting recently, I had a class yesterday and I'm hoping to get some crafting done today and hope I have some mojo...... I have another class on Sunday and my ladies know 2 cards they are making and the 3rd is going to be a surprise!! at this stage it really is a surprise as I haven't designed/made it yet!!

I needed a special box for a gift and this was just the perfect fit

I used the Simply Scored to make it

A piece of 12 x 12 Smoky Slate card stock (available in the Autumn/Winter catalogue)

The top is twisted and I added some real red card pieces

the tag is from Tag It stamp set

Hope you are having a great day!

Until next time ...............

Here is a photo of the gift box I made to go with it....... a lovely Stampin' Up! gift inside the box for my friend and neighbour Debbie, who took care of our post and house while we were away.

Here is a closer look at the box I made using the Score Tool, the same colours of Raspberry Ripple and Brushed Gold were used along with the the layered labels stamp and Apothecary framelit, die cut out on my big shot

A closer look
the new firm foam ink pads stamp so beautifully especially on more solid images like the dotty frame in this photo

and a sort of closer look at the bottle tag

Hope Debbie and Tom enjoy the wine and I'm sure Debbie will like my little gift.

Thanks

Gift box and Paper Bow

What is it about Friday that makes the day feel so good? It's always been my favourite day of the week even on a non work day it feels good and unfortunately today is a work day but I am at home! and that has to be a good thing!

Jim my UPS man came a couple of days ago and he brought me a box of New Autumn/Winter catalogues if you would like a copy? place an order with me during August and I will send you one...... it will make every day seem like Friday!!!
Ordering starts on September 1st

I was having a play yesterday lunch time and made a little gift box .... I had been meaning to make the paper bow for ages so the box had to be done too.

I used Peach Parfait card for the base and some of the matching designer paper from the In Colour Paper Stack

The bow I made from some of the paper from the Everyday Enchantment paper that I got free during Sale a Bration and the brad in the middle was last months Free promotion but I didn't get to use them until now

Here is a birds eye view at the bow

I think this would look great in any of our designer papers so if I get chance today I might make some more bows and have them ready to add gifts, in fact; wouldn't they be great in Christmas papers?

Don't forget this month's offer of a FREE stamp set see the RED wording at the top of this post for more details and I would be happy to place an order for you.

Until next time ........... have a happy Friday!
