Merry and Bright Tree Card

I was having a look on Pinterest over the weekend and saw this card made by thingiewingie, I couldn't find a link to her blog though so I'll leave that up to you if you have time to search

I knew I would have to CASe it (copy and share everything)

At first, I used the Tree Punch to create the tree and cut off the stem but it was just a tad too small!

Guess what? my new e-cutter came to the rescue! I created the tree shape free hand and added three cut out stars to the shape and voila just perfect

I stamped the stars from Be the Star Stamp Set and splattered the background with black and white

The Silver Stars are punched from the Confetti Stars Punch and the star punch from Bitty Accents pack of punches

The sentiment is from Good Greeetings Stamp set

Anyway, I used the Trim the Tree Designer Stack of paper and punched using the Tree Punch the 3 trees per tree

Red Glimmer Stars punched using the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack

the sentiment is from Sassy Salutations stamped in Real Red Ink

Here is a closer look at the dimensional trees

Kraft and Vellum Card - Stampin' Up!

Today's card is a Kraft Christmas Card

The new Kraft Card from Stampin' Up! is really beautiful and although you can't see my sentiment because of the watermark (sorry about that) I used Peace and Joy from the FREE Stamp Set, Good Greetings

The stars are punched out with the Bitty Accents Star Punch and just one on the right hand side is die cut using the little star from the Thinlits Circle Card dies

I used the Circle Framelits and ran a piece of Vellum Cardstock through my Texture Embossing Machine using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder

Thanks for stopping by

Until tomorrow............. I have quite a special card to share! hope you can pop by for a look

Sneak Peek Confetti Stars Punch by Stampin' Up!

I didn't get time to blog yesterday as I spent the day with my little sister and her boy, we all went bowling and played Pool........ well I didn't do any of the playing but hubby did with Kieran and the whole day was really for Kieran but it was hard to know who enjoyed it most!  Hubby (who hadn't bowled in years) got 3 strikes!  Kieran won at Pool (well we helped him with the cue and did place the balls where he could get them in the pockets)

Here is a link to a card I made for him and a photo of him (he is 15 now)

Anyway on to today's card

I just had to use my new Confetti Stars Punch as soon as I got it!!

It will be available in the upcoming Autumn/Winter catalogue

Here is a box card I made using the fabulous punch and the Star Punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch pack along with the Be The Star Stamp set

I'm sorry you can't see the dimension on the star for the belly band but it does have some depth to it where I scored it using the Simply Scored Board

Thanks for taking time for a look

Until next time ........
