Frost White Serene Snowflake

Thought I would schedule a post as I'm working tomorrow (Friday) and I have to go the the garage to collect my car, it decided to throw a wobbler on Tuesday on my way to and from a class with my ladies in Worcester........ anyway it is fixed now so my hire car can go back tomorrow too.

thought I would show you a card I made a while ago 

I love making Christmas cards as you will probably guess by the amount on my little blog here

This one is by no means perfect!  ..... I inked up the Serene Snowflake stamp set with Frost White paint and stamped onto night of navy card but I did skid a little the trick is not to load the stamp with too much paint......... how do I know? well if you look closely you will see.    humph ...

Serene Snowflake with ribbon

I know some of you think some of us are mad making Christmas Cards so early but..... I absolutely love making them! 

So I have to show you them tee hee..........

Here is an unusual colour one, well for me it is, Naturals Ivory card stamped with chocolate chip ink using the fabulous Stampin' Up! Serene Snowflake stamp set

The ribbon is retired but you could make this card using Soft Suede and the 1.1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon is available for purchase.

The sentiment is from Beautiful Season stamp set, the snowflake is from my own stash but watch this space............

Crayon Resist Serene Snowflakes

We had a lovely day yesterday on our Anniversary and a wonderful meal, it really doesn't feel like it was that many years ago, we have been together now for 21 yearsish and my only wish is that we would have met earlier but you never know we might have hated each other as teenagers .... tee hee....

so on to todays cards using the Crayon Resist Technique and Stampin' Up! Serene Snowflake stamp set, the first one I demonstrated at a recent Stampin' Up! event I held at home and then the second one I made some time after and made it bigger and upgraded it by adding more product, I am loving the Doily Trple Layer punch I used it to make the snowflake on the second card.

Stampin' Up! Ornament Punch with Serene Snowflakes

I think I have enough Christmas cards made for this year as I started early making mine!

this one happened by accident.....

I punched out the ornament form the whisper white card and a light bulb moment happened!! not often for me but I thought I should make the most of it.... tee hee

anyway I stamped the snowflakes from Serene Snowflakes in the middle using Whisper White Craft ink and then embossed in white embossing powder a few pearls and ribbon and the card was done.

Winter Post not Serene Snowflake ... oops!

Well the Far Forest show went really well and ............. I didn't get to take any pics but a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator Andy and his wife Mandy came for a day out and to support me and they did have their camera and have put some pictures on Andy's blog you can view them here

Thanks Andy and Mandy for coming it was lovely to see you both and I look forward to seeing you in October.

Anyway onto today's card

Serene Snowflakes  Winter Post stamp set and Four the Holidays. I stamped the snowflake in white craft ink and embossed with white embossing powder

Using the scallop border punch to make the frame and Peace on Earth was stamped using Night of Navy.

Serene Snowflake Christmas Card with Dazzling Diamonds

Such a simple one using Gold Embossing powder

The Ribbon is Retired from last year but as I had some left thought I should use some of it up, I still have some left though, so will have to make more of the same on this one.

I took a close up of the Snowflake to try and capture the dazzling diamonds bus not sure it worked!!
