More Christmas cards .... sorry!

This one is a real quick one to make I used the New Fancy Fan embossing folder for the card, gotta love this embossing folder as it fits the whole card!!

the white piece is a portion of the Scallop Square die the Merry Christmas is retiring this month from Season of Joy stamp set boo hoo.....

The bauble is from Tags til Chrismas stamp set and a piece of Real Red satin ribbon to finish it off

Here is a closer look with the rhinstone jewel, gotta have some bling

Some new and some old Stampin' Up!

I think I may have said how much I like making Christmas cards well here is another using some retired items and some new

The new fancy fan folder embossed the base layer and die cut the real red card using the Adorning Accents die and layered some red glimmer paper to that, this was available in the Spring mini catalogue but if you didn't get it, we now have a champagne glimmer paper that would work just as well with some of our Brushed Gold card stock instead.

The greeting was one of my favourite Stampin' Up! stamp set called Sincere Salutations that sadly retired this month......
this was layered on top of one of the new die from Apothecary Accents

The bauble was punched using the Ornament punch and Holly Berry bouquet paper also retiring this month

Until next time ............ have a happy crafting day!

Wedding Card for Carole on Valentines Day

Happy Valentine Day to everyone who celebrates it!

We don't really do Valentine Day, my hubby says he tells me everyday he loves me and doesn't need a day dedicated for it! I think he's just avoiding buying the card, the dinner, the chocolates, the bubbly sparkly champagne.................. well I did make him a Scallop Circle box full of chocolate hearts!

Onto my card for today and it's not a Valentine card but a Wedding Card a good friend of mine Carole is getting married today to David, they have been together forever but they are finally tying the knot today,
Have a great day Carole (not that I think you will have time to check out my blog today!)

It's an all White card this is the box I put it in to protect it in the post

Here is a better picture of just the card

Lots of punches used for this, all of the border punches from Stampin' Up well the one's available in the UK.
the flower is made using the Blossom Builder punch and it sits in the Bauble (ornament) punch for a vase.  The flower stamen is a long strip of card rolled up.
Oh! and the decorated box I used the Blossom Party die available from the Spring Mini.

That's it for now!
Until next time ........???????

Greenhouse Garden birthday card and a bit of my story

Here is a card we made at the Stampin' Up! party I did yesterday for some new ladies and we had a great time getting to know each other.
I think they have very quickly become fans of Stampin' Up! and like us all loved how everything co-ordinates so brilliantly.

When I first ordered from Stampin' Up! I know I wanted everything and it was the scallop border punch that I was sourcing, well I can tell you that was a very expensive punch!!! as my first order was around £90 lol
Anyway, I knew then that I wanted more! so I joined up as a Demonstrator never thinking for one minute I would "demonstrate" I just wanted the discount!!!! but that was in July 2009 tee hee and here I am still going and yes of course I demonstrate but that was down to my friend Lesley who said "I'll have a party for you! as I want all the free hostess goodies"  and she invited 20 ladies!! phew! 2 make and take sessions that night, remember that Les? well now of course Les signed up as she too wanted the discount and guess what? she demonstrates as well!  Anyway I love doing the demonstrating and meeting lovely ladies on the way who become friends like Wendy, Shirley, Elsie and Lyn thank you for sticking with me and being friends and customers and making me laugh so much.... oh and to Shirley for the yummy cakes she makes.
So if you love Stampin' Up! and would like to join me then contact me for a friendly no obligation chat.  Take a look at the Join my Team button for a bit more information on that.

below is a gift box of Christmas Tags I made for the hostess

that's it for today

Stampin' Up! Ornament Punch with Serene Snowflakes

I think I have enough Christmas cards made for this year as I started early making mine!
this one happened by accident.....
I punched out the ornament form the whisper white card and a light bulb moment happened!! not often for me but I thought I should make the most of it.... tee hee

anyway I stamped the snowflakes from Serene Snowflakes in the middle using Whisper White Craft ink and then embossed in white embossing powder a few pearls and ribbon and the card was done.

Multi Panel card CASe Dawn Griffith

I'm still not feeling too good and my cold is not going!
anyway I was having a look at some of my favourite blogs today and one of them is Dawn Griffith, she did a card using this Multi panel and I couldn't wait to have a go myself I'm always looking for different card patterns, in her instructions she uses the American size card and inches so I had a bit of calculating to do and came up with a version using our card stock size and cenitmetres.

I used the Contempo Christmas stamp set from Stampin' Up! and Cherry Cobbler as my colour choice.
Here is a side view, I wish now I had put a very vanilla panel in the middle and lay the punched ornaments on top of that.
Oh well! I can always make another!!!!

Supplies used are all Stampin' Up!
Contempo Christmas
Ornament Punch
Cherry Cobbler Card and Ink
Designer paper is Jolly Holly
Glitter is from the Galaxy collection page 100 of the Idea book and catalogue

Hope your weekend is going well...........
............Until next time..........be crafty......
