Stampin' Up! Bird Punch and Wax Resist

Well as we found out the Bird Builder Punch is leaving this current catalogue I thought I would share a couple of cards I made recently

I used some wax paper and the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder and sponged over the first piece using Crumb Cake and the other with Pool Party

The Black Ribbon is also retiring 

I'm happy to say the Gold Metallic Doilies are staying as is the embossing folder

The butterfly is from Papillion Potpouri and that's staying too

Stampin' Up! Owl Builder Punch meets Feel Goods

I haven't used my Owl Builder Punch in ages or the Top Note Die so thought it was about time they came our for an airing

I also used the Bird Builder Punch for the branch

The Dotty paper is from the Regals Designer Series Stack

Beautiful Birthday and Elegant Lines

I was getting ready for some classes I have this weekend on Saturday, Sunday and Monday

I know 3 in a row! and took some time out yesterday to make a card, I was thinking masculine but not sure I achieved it but hey ho, I still like it.....

The Beautiful Birthday single stamp is just so "beautiful"  don't you think?

with all it's swirls and curls

I treamed it up with the Elegant Lines embossing folder, what crisp images it gives on this whisper white card

I added a small piece of designer paper from the In Colour stack in Midnight Muse and a punched ribbon border and then of course as you can see added the 2 Step Builder Bird punch

Simple card today

2 step owl builder punch Stampin' Up!

Phew! it's Sunday already..... lovely class yesterday with some new ladies who have not stamped before or very little anyway but I think they are hooked now and we had a lovely afternoon making a couple of Christmas cards and a general birthday card.  Norma said "If you had asked me before I started today, I would never have thought I could make cards like this" so I think she was pleased with them.

This is one of the cards we did in Friday night's class, I made one during Sale a Bration using the Punch Bunch owl and when Val saw this at a recent party I did she said she would love to make one! so I revamped the owls using the 2 Step Owl Build punch.

It's a shadow box card and when you pull the sides you can see the greeting and when it's closed flat to go in the envelope the owls hold hands ....  well in my imagination they do......

the photo doesn't show too well but the outside was stamped using the Wood Background stamp.

and the leaves are from the 2 Step Bird Builder punch, the sentiment is from Sincere Salutations.

Sizzix Scallop circle die flowers and more......

Happy Sunday.............. only makes me think about work though........I am off to Bolton tomorrow and back Wednesday evening phew!! wish it was Wednesday already! then I have a couple of days to make sure everything is sorted for my event next Sunday (see yesterday's post for more details on that)

I made this card the other day and dh says it's in his Top 5 of cards I have made so that must be a first I didn't know I had a Top 5! I must ask him the other 4???! tee hee...... anyway he says it reminds him of a wall of flowers in a garden! hum! wonder what he is after?

So onto the card the large flower I made from the Scallop Circle die and the 3 on the left from Circle punches, a piece of Whisper White Satin ribbon across the middle and some lace from my stash, the pearls are from the Pretties Kit (retired.... sorry) some of the leaves are from the 2 Step Bird punch and the paper is Jolly Holiday (note to self order some more, love it!)

New Baby Card - 2 Step Owl Punch

I am hearing of lots of new babies coming into the world this past month and so I thought I would make a card for a little boy baby, just changing the colour used it would be a good design for a baby girl too!

All supplies are Stampin' Up!

The bottom of the card I used strips from the Quick Accents Nursery Suite so this made it a quick card to put together, Using the 2 Step Owl punch, I punched his body from Baha Breeze card stock and the waistcoat is from Elegant Soiree dsp it matches the stripes of the Nursery Suite.  Check out the other colours on Page 92 of the Idea Book and Catalogue.

The sentiment is from Basic Phrases and punched out with the Word Window Punch, I layered this onto a tag that I punched from the Decorative label Punch.

Another card using the 2 Step Bird Punch, the Full Heart Punch and the itty bitty heart punch.  The base card is the lovely shimmer card from Stampin' Up! and is available in the March Frenzy at a knock down price.........so why not get yours before the 31st March, you can email me your order and pay by credit/debit card too.........

2 Step Bird Punch and Ornament punch

Couldn't sleep last night......... I think my head was buzzing with all the things I want to make.........my pre-order of the Mini catalogue arrived yesterday and I was working from home........ but couldn't even open the box .......I knew I would want to play, so last night I opened it and had a little play but can't show you any of it yet, sorry but just wait until you get your hands on this Mini it's packed with lots of lovely new Stampin' Up! goodies.  Roll on 1st April eh?

Anyway onto my card using 2 of Stampin' Up! punches, the Ornament punch is still not available to order yet but as I have one already couldn't resist using it for this card.....

The sentiment is from Always Elegant Stamp Set.

Stampin' Up! 2 Step Bird Punch

Belfast came and went I got home at 9pm last night feeling very tired but I am sure a night in my own bed will bring me back on track.  Before I went off to Belfast I dedided to make a few cards using Stampin' Up! punches so over the next few days I will be showing what I came up with..  Today's card is a very simple one the sentiment was one of the Sale a Bration FREE sets, hope you got yours?

Short and sweet as I am working from home today and this is my lunch break, off to grab a snack and then back to work........
