Stampin' Up! Bird Punch and Wax Resist

Well as we found out the Bird Builder Punch is leaving this current catalogue I thought I would share a couple of cards I made recently

I used some wax paper and the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder and sponged over the first piece using Crumb Cake and the other with Pool Party

The Black Ribbon is also retiring

I'm happy to say the Gold Metallic Doilies are staying as is the embossing folder

The butterfly is from Papillion Potpouri and that's staying too

Thanks for stopping by and just click over there on the top right or my Peg signature below to go and see the latest list (it changes daily)

Stampin' Up! Pop Up Card

Yesterday I got to make a pop up card, I had been wondering what to do craft wise as I had been expecting a friend for the day who couldn't make it, so all my plans changed and this is the card I came up with

I used Stampin' Up! designer paper stack in the subtles colour; Wisteria Wonder to decorate the front and my favourite deco label framelits

The Happy Day stamp set for the sentiment and Papillion Potpourri stamp set for the butterflies, my other colour choice is Rose Red

Here is the card opened up and all the butterflies floating around
The large butterfly is from the Best of Butterflies stamp set

and here is a different angle look

Thanks for popping by for a look today

Until next time ...... enjoy the bank holiday today

Simply Sketched and Subtles Designer Stack

The Thunder and lightening storm arrived around 4.30am this morning!
Boo Hoo! hope the summer hasn't ended yet!
It's still warm though and the thunder is still going on as I type.

Onto my little card today

I think the hostess stamp set Simply Sketched is one of the nicest in the 2013/2014 catalogue, to get this stamp set you can host a qualifying party or my stampers 6 club ladies get to choose this during their hostess month if they want, if you would like details then do get in touch for more details.

For this card I used the poppy stamp and Papillion Potpourri little butterfly and matching punch

Here is a closer look I used a Stampin' Up! blender pen and Ink pad to colour the flower

Have a lovely  day! in the Rain!!

Until next time ........... happy crafting

Papillion Potpourri and Modern Medley

Update on the little ducks today is I searched the whole garden for them yesterday and kept popping out to the pond to see if they were around .... but nowhere to be seen!
I'm just hoping Mommy is taking care of them somewhere hidden and safe.

So onto the card today, I had fun with this one stamping a couple of butterflies from the Papillion Potpourri stamp set and adding some pearls, I scribbled the trail of each butterfly with a black Stampin' marker

the strips of paper at the bottom are from a brand new designer paper from the new catalogue available July, it's all black and vanilla, love it! and I'm going to be using it!!! instead of storing it and just looking at it... so watch out for some more cards using it!

The button is also new called Very Vintage

If you haven't got hold of your new catalogue yet

See this post for the paypal button to buy a new catalogue total including postage £4.80.  Scroll to the bottom.

Until next time....... happy day to you ...

Papilion Potpouri and mojo

As I've had a couple of days to get used to not going to work I seem to have lost my mojo for crafting!
Just when you have more time on your hands to do what you want to do and you can't come up with anything!! so annoying

Well I did what I used to do and picked a stamp set 5th row from the left and bottom and it was the lovely Papillion Potpouri a set of 6 butterfly stamps and a small antler.  I chose a couple of stamps and chose the colours and decided on Pink Pirouette and Raspberry Ripple

I obviously needed a sentiment and chose the Thinking of you from Hopeful Thoughts

Have a great weekend and hope my mojo comes back soon.......

Until next time ........... enjoy your Saturday!

Elegant Butterfly and Believe a bit of fun too

A little bit of information first before I go on to my card so if you want to skip this then scroll down!

On Friday night we went to our local Hall where there was a Rock and Roll event to raise money for the hall so we went along to support it.  The band was fantastic called "The Atlantics" not that this sort of music was my era but from the minute they started playing and singing the dance floor was filled! and I have to say some were just amazing dancers, I wish I could dance rock and roll, well lets be honest!!! I wish I had some rhythm to dance any kind of dance! my legs seem to belong to no part of my body believe me!

Anyway, as usual we were some of the last to leave and a friend of ours, for a laugh part way through the night dressed up in this outfit! so of course hubby had to try it on!!
The photo was taken by someone else on their phone so it's not brilliant but it's still funny to me.

I laughed so much I was crying! so a good night had by all.

Onto the card today, I took the photo this morning so it's not brilliant either but I think you get the idea

The butterflies were stamped using the Papillion Potpourri stamp set and punched out with the Elegant butterfly punch look like they are about to take flight

Well I have to dash as I have a class this afternoon and a few chores to do before then

Until next time ............ enjoy your Sunday!

Don't forget to pop by tomorrow to see the embossing tutorial!
