A change from Sale a Bration playing with punches

I don't know about you but sometimes I just have to do something else?
and I was trying to have a sort out and I found so many punches that hadn't been used in just forever!  I knew the Petite Petal Punch would get used other than for punching out a stamped image!  The Boho Blossom Punch was used along with the Bitty punches and the daisy looking punches were from my own stash

The Card is the Very Vanilla Coredination and I love how this looks like linen, I scrunched all the edges and used some Sahara Sand Ink to distress it a bit

I enjoyed myself doing something different for a change, oh and the other colour is Soft Sky and Crumb Cake

Well I have a class today so off to make sure everything is sorted

Until next time .............. be crafty .......

and this one I liked better, the little flower looks a bit like a poinsettia don't you think?

Such a simple card but great if you have to make lots

Have a great day! and thanks for stopping by for a look

Stampin' Up! Bigz XL Designer Rosette

I knew I just had to have it!

for lots of reasons..... I still have to make the ornament on the front of the Autumn/Winter catalogue and it's used on that....... but I just have to make some of these to decorate at Christmas!!

Here is my first one ..... of many I'm sure

It's the Bigz XL Designer Rosette die 125594 in the Stampin' Up! Annual catalogue page 194

the designer paper I used is Be of Good Cheer and for the centre I used the Perfect Pennant die a circle punch of Champagne glimmer paper (more like card) and the Boho Blossom punch

Hanging from my landing window

and a closer look

The pearl is from the Pretties Kit (retired) I'm waiting for my Large Pearls 125577 page 175 in the annual catalogue to be delivered

Until next time .......... enjoy your day!

Stampin' Up! Pillow Box

What a terrible night sleep last night! I woke up about 3am and never got back to sleep!!!
Perhaps I'll get chance for a nap later but I doubt that very much and anyway if I do I will wake up grumpy (no I don't live with the seven dwarfs tee hee) and a headache too so I will avoid that me thinks......

I needed a little treat box for a friend and what better than to use none other than the Pillow Box die so quick and easy

I used Basic Black and some of the lovely flock designer paper from Mocha Morning and layered that over a couple of punched borders using the scallop trim border punch

On top I made a flower from the scallop circle punch and the boho blossom punch and I just love the brad in the middle from the Vintage brad pack

Well I'm back to work tomorrow after my holiday with my sister and I'm at my office in Reading for 3 days! but then on Saturday I'm attending a Stampin' Up! event also in Reading, can't wait to meet up with some fellow demonstrators and swap some cards, hopefully I will show you some of them next week.

Until next time.......

Not a Stampin' Up! Baby card with Nursery Nest

At last I've got around to making something!

I'm now off work for a few days so hope to get more cards made.
I got the Nursery Next designer paper FREE this month with a £45 order so decided to cut into it!

That leads me onto another story my friend Carole told me I don't seem to use much dsp on my cards and she is so right!  I like to look at the paper and not cut into it tee hee, how many of us are like that? lots I'll bet anyway I've decided to use some on this card.

Although I have used Nursery Nest and looks like it should be used on baby cards I have used it on this Friend card.

The sentiment is from You're a Gem only available until the end of the month in the Spring Mini and you could get the paper FREE with an order of £45 or over.

Marina Mist ribbon and the Lace Border Punch is in the main catalogue as is the Boho Blossom Punch I used to punch and add to the centre of the ribbon.

A bit of a close up and you can now see the Jewel Pearls

That's it for now.......
..... Until next time .......... have a great day!

Create a Cup Cake

Hello and happy Wednesday, Phew! back to work today and a rest from classes for a while, I had a blast though as I really love sharing what I love.

I know the title says Create a Cupcake and you are probably wondering where the cupcake is?
well it's one of the stamps from that set the little bow.  I looked at it and thought of a washing line! my weird mind, I know, don't say anything....... (forgive my washing line drawing on this as it's not brilliant and only just joins up! )

The little bluebird is the bird out of Everything Eleanor stamp set.

I couldn't make my mind up about the lack of any garden feature and so I added some overgrown grass! obviously someone needs to get the lawnmower out! tee hee

Off to do some work now.......
................. Until next time ................ have a great Wednesday!

Baroque Motif

Hooray it's Friday!

My job in Edinburgh was cancelled for today so I didn't have to work the 4 days I expected yippee so today I get to do some crafting.

.............and guess what on the day I can have a nice lie in bed.........yep you guessed it I can't!  I have been awake since 3am so decided I couldn't lie there any longer and got up made a nice cup of tea and came in my craft room; hubby is snoring softly .............. lucky him eh? Ah well maybe I'll catch up on a nap later?

Here is another CASe from the US Stampin' Up! catalogue using Baroque Motif stamp set and Boho Blossom punch and one of the little punches from Itty Bitty Shapes Pack of 3 punches available in the Mini catalogue.

I stamped the image by using the Stamp a ma jig added a piece of Blushing Bride In colour ribbon across the top and stamped and punched the sentiment using the Modern Label Punch a very simple card and easy 'cus I didn't have to do too much thinking of what to do, naughty I know but at least you get to look at something! tee hee.............

..........so I am off to tidy my craft room it's a mess! and then mess it all back up again with some more crafting!

.................Until tomorrow.............be crafty..........
